This issue is creeping up all over. I don't have the slightest idea what's causing it. I'll have to leave this up to the heavy artillery (iago). He can do anything, but he just doesn't have much time on his hands.

You might give us a hint by elaborating on the meaning of "a few servers". Which servers are working and which aren't?
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I haven't even logged onto Battle.net in over a year. I'm hardly heavy artillery, I'm more like "totally out of touch". There are others here who'd have a better chance of answering.

I've never gotten this, but try turning the verify server setting off in the Battle.net login plugin settings.

I meant heavy artillery in diagnosing Java errors. As far as Battle.net is concerned, I'm able to connect in StealthBot which is using the same code that was written when Stealth switched from CSB. I'm wondering what's causing the error on the local side.

For step one of the diagnosis though, Spasm, what version of JRE are you running?

I have experienced similar problems, and from what I can tell, the following is going on:

1: JavaOP connects normally, and starts doing bot stuff
2: After a couple of minutes, JavaOP suddenly disconnects and is unable to reconnect (above error)

I couldn't figure out what was going on until it happened while I was playing StarCraft in the mean time - I suddenly got a "you have been disconnected from Battle.net" notice. Subsequent attempts to log in again resulted in "Connecting..." after which I was thrown back to the realm selection screen. Other realms work fine after this, but I can't get back on USEast. Short explanation: temporary IP ban on any realm I try to use JavaOP on.

That looks plausable, What client are you guys using on the bot?
If you wouldn't mind giving more detailed info.
(Client products, greets, does it only happen on particular realms, what plugins you have enabled, and the like)

Does warden result in an IP ban if you don't respond properly?

Are you using SC?

The error was on USEast with Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, though I might have tried StarCraft and WarCraft 2 a few times as well. No Greets configured, and the following plugins:

Antiflood
Email Registration Plugin
Ping Plugin
Commands
Basic Commands
Channel list plugin
Simple event processor
Help
Connection Commands
Battle.net Login Plugin
Console Display Plugin
Version plugin
ChoedanKal (this is one of my own, connects to my website and sets Bot permissions accordingly)
