I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Does somebody want to summarize the story so I don't have to go read all that? :)

The kid is dumb and quit college to play WoW, and got fat in the process. Then he quit WoW and went back to college. The end.

I had 180 some days played on my original rogue I believe. Since I got banned on both my accounts and quit I've lost 40 pounds, have friends, started smoking, and now play D2 and Steam games in my free time. The next MMO I plan to give my life to is Warhammer Online, a game made for the smarter MMO players.

Same here, but I figure if I'm going to smoke marijuana I may as well take up smoking cigarettes occasionally as well. (Not enough to get addicted, just when stressed and need a break.) A pack lasts me about a month and a half, maybe more. :-\

Remember now, I'm the 15 year old who's been in the psych ward 4 times within a year and goes to an adolescent partial program. :P No plans on living very long.

To put it bluntly, that's a pretty stupid reason. And in any case, nobody starts off smoking a pack a day.

I don't see any reason there why you wouldn't live long.

Quit while you still can.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

Yeah, it took me four years to get to that point. It's easier to never start than it is to quit.

It's not wrong with the game.  It's wrong with the people who play the game.

Shrug, things you enjoy are good at getting you to do them often. But, WoW is just REALLY good at that. I've done a lot of stupid things, but when I played WoW it was just straight up addicting. Nowadays I really can't sit down and play it, I'm not sure why. I just can't get motivated to play, and thats a good thing. I played wow for a few months, not too long, and I had an unreal amount of days played. It's a hard habit to lose, just like smoking. It's funny how both turn out bad for your health though.
It is good to be good, but it is better to be lucky.

I have a hard time picking it up and starting again. I've tried multiple times now but it just bores me.

I feel like I don't belong!  I play WoW, but I am a very casual player.  I play when I can and I don't neglect other things to play.  But then again, the only reason I play is because I have real life friends that play and when you play with friends it's a lot more fun IMO.  I would never play alone.  I'm not much of a MMORPG fan so I have that going for me, too.
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

Heh, yeah, I really don't get the game addiction thing. I've been playing WoW for almost two years now, and it hasn't affected anything except for other games I might have played instead of it. I'm somewhere in between a casual and a hardcore player... while some days I will log 8 or 10 hours, and I've started to raid a few nights a week... but other days I don't touch the game at all. I even (gasp) let my subscription expire from time to time when I have more interesting things to spend my money on.
