On Portal:
Holy crap this game was fun but a bit short at an average first play time of two hours. I rate this game a 10/10 for unique ideas and a very funny storyline involving a Disk Operating System and Cake.
On Team Fortress 2:
I bought it the other day and damn, I've been playing it only for a day and a half and I'm already addicted. If anyone is considering getting it, please do!
If you buy the Orange Box from Valve, you'll get it (Team Fortress 2), Portal (Another awesome++; game, based on the style of
Narbacular Drop), Half Life, Episode 1, and Episode 2. If you already have any of the listed above you'll also get a gift invite for a friend. If you send them the gift invite for a game such as HL2, they get the full game forever (Could be good selling to friends, although this is against the terms and everyone who is anyone in games should have already played HL1..)!
Anyways, back to the topic of TF2, it's got the same 9 classes the original Team Fortress Classic had but with a lot of modifications. It's pretty damn balanced and if you get bored of playing once class, switching classes (of which you can do anytime you die) completely changes the feel of the game. Over-all 9/10 game.
