a new BNCSutil?
« on: October 01, 2007, 10:10:33 pm »
Well, the latest version for me would be 1.3.1.1. Is there a later version lingering around somewhere, and more importantly, does it support local hashing for SC?

I heard that ForstWraith has the source to 1.3.3. Perhaps you guys could work on that source?

I'm sure you could find what you're looking for with a Google search. In any case, you're better off using BNLS_VERSIONCHECKEX2 because it ensures that your bot will always be able to pass the version check.

I'm sure he knows that, but that required a depandacy on a JBLS/BNLS server.
Which in this day and age isn't that big of a deal.
But he may still want to have the option of doing it locally. If someone can get me the latest source for BNCsutil.dll I'll see what I can do.

All google searches i've done here at school are blocked.
I'm not a fucking moron, I'm just to lazy to try and get around it.

Oh no, I'm not very good at programming. (Haven't gotten into TCP/IP either). It's just I'm heavily into the idea of making SC work for local hashing.

You say there is a BNCLutil with SC hashing support? I mean, what's so different with a JBLS/BNLS server being able to hash SC than BNCSutil?

Nothing, Just the fact that no one has felt like updating BNCSutil.dll to allow for lockdown.

With all due respect, if you can't do TCP/IP, you shouldn't even think about getting anywhere near Lockdown.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Why?  They're not nearly related.

And why the bump almost a full month after the fact?
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Our species really annoys me.

Level of complexity, though.

And I didn't notice how old this was. Wow, this board is stale. :P
