Get your copy of the .NET libraries today!
« on: October 04, 2007, 05:51:48 am »
http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2007/10/03/releasing-the-source-code-for-the-net-framework-libraries.aspx

Good for debugging purposes as mentioned, but this is awfully scary! Well they will obviously have some sort of control but i hope they have stated in their license that it can't be redistributed.

Why's it matter if it gets redistributed? If they're making it available, anybody can download them anyways.

I don't see to much of an advantage from it anyway (apart from the role it will play in debugging). Might as well just use the .NET reflector.

It's a read-only license. No impact on Mono.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.
