Learning C#/.NET
«

So, I just got a job where I need to have some level of C# skills. I still have a copy of Visual Studio from when I originally applied for the job, but I never did use it for C#.
Does anybody know of a book that teaches C# but assumes a programming background? I don't want to sit there reading what a "for" loop is, but I'd like to learn the tricks of the language.
Thanks!

One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

Incidentally, don't get the wrong impression -- I don't need to write the code, but I'm going to be a pen-tester at a place that uses ASP and C# and whatnot, in addition to what I already know (C, Java, PHP).

Here is an interesting site...
http://www.functionx.com/csharp/
it can also be purchased as an ebook. Well if you know java i remeber seeing a good book titled, "C# for Java Developers" by Allen Jones and Adam Freeman.
