If everyone is trained and armed then it'd work fine to shoot back ;)

And yeah, I know it's wrong morally, of course.  But is it worth the hassle of maybe dealing with "the law"? hah

Not likely. There's still a good chance of getting yourself shot if you do that, better than if you hide.

No, but that doesn't matter because you shouldn't have murdered somebody in the first place.

I can see taking cover and then firing...but hiding doesnt work so well if they sneak up on you.

I didn't murder someone, the scenario is me killing someone who is threatening me/my property (legal)

If they sneak up on you, then you're probably dead anyways. Taking cover and firing, like I said, gives away your position. You're better off taking cover and waiting for him to leave.

And as far as I'm concerned, killing = murder. If it makes you feel better that it's legal to take a human's life away from them, that's fine. But it makes no difference to me, if you intentionally kill somebody, you've murdered them.

But if you take cover then you're hidden til you have a good shot...then you shoot til you're out of ammo.

killing = murder.  Murder is a legal concept and a crime.  Sometime killing is necessary.

I think "necessary" in this context is pretty opinionated...

I suppose that isn't correct.

Allow me to rephrase.  Sometimes it is necessary to kill to protect your life or that of others.

According to this link the shooter was killed by a police sniper (it doesn't tell you that in the first post's link).

How does a 20 year old become a cop? In San Diego you have to be at least 21 to start the training to become an officer ( I researched this cause i want to become a cop :P) and why would a 14 year old be at a "Party"? things never make sense...

Fuck off. <3

And yes, I know 14 year old potheads.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Is that all? Doesn't hold a candle to the 11 year old chain smokers and marijuana experimenters here.
Hell, I smoked pot when I was 14.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

"I shot the sheriff but did not shoot the deputy" becomes "I ran from the deputy but I did not run fast enough"
