Only fucking Americans call it Military time... which is retarded. It's 24-hour time.
i call it a 24 hour clock... most Americans dont use 24 hours tho cause they are lazy to learn. that is why we don't use the metric system. ( we are all to lazy to convert)
It seems ignorant to me to refer to it as Military time implying that only the military uses it, when in fact the rest of the fucking world uses it. I love 24 hour time, I set whatever I can to it. (Only my computer unfortunately :().
Who gives a damn? I fuck sheep all the time.
And yes, male both ends.  There are a couple lesbians that need a two-ended dildo...My router just refuses to wear a strap-on.

Nice, everything I own is on 24-hour clock. The whole am/pm thing is nonsense. It's retarded and confusing!

I'm accustomed to AM/PM, but I suppose I'd be inclined to use 24-hour time if it was more practical (almost everything comes standard with AM/PM and I don't like tinkering with all of those sorts of things).  Plus, it'd take some getting used to and it's unnecessary. :)

Yea, nothing like waking up at 7:00 PM and thinking you're late for school/work.

Don't just bow down to the standard! Try changing it!

I set my watch to 24-hour a long time ago, and got pretty used to it. Now I convert back and forth without even realizing it. I look at 19:00 and say 7pm.

I took a nap at 12:00 (noon) one time and so when i woke up at 7:00PM I drove to school no one was there :P

Actually, my math teacher, who is Canadian, calls it Military time also. It's not only Americans, so hold your horses.

Lazy and economically undesirable are two different things.  While I strongly dislike imperial system of measurements, it's easy enough to steer away from it in scientific subjects.  I would definitely like to see the US steer toward using the Metric system, but I think we have other, more pressing issues to concern ourselves with at the moment.

Actually, scientists use metric because it's easier to keep track of, not because imperial is an inferior system. Metric units were not always more strongly defined than imperial units - although, today we have the luxury of defining a second in terms of the behavior of an uncharged cesium-133 atom at absolute zero. If there were ten inches in a foot, and 100 feet in a mile, I'm sure metric would never have come about.

Speak for yourself! Metric is ridiculously more intuitive when talking about relative measurements.  Being able to do conversions in my head by just modifying the exponent is a godsend in every engineering or physics field I've studied.

That's exactly what makes the imperial system inferior in my book (and those of most people who study science).

I did not say there weren't analogous imperial units for most units in the metric system, which is what you seem to be responding to.
