Judge Arrests Entire Courtroom

That's a funny one. Basically, somebody's cellphone went off. When nobody would admit that it was theirs, the judge threw everybody in the courtroom in jail with a $1500 bail. :)

Must have been a shitty judge if he has to have a lawyer.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

All judges have lawyers, even Supreme Court justices.
What's the saying...the worst lawyer you could have is yourself (something to that effect, more catchy probably)

Yeah, but that part's boring. I didn't post this to make any kind of serious comment on anything, I just thought it was funny. It's the kind of thing you'd see in a cartoon. :)

Haha, yeah.  The Judge did have what's coming to him, though.
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

Meaning that if he had anything in savings and had been a judge for more than a few years, he's set for life.

Ouch.

That's very rarely the case.  Most people live according to their means; someone with a $114k/yr salary isn't going to live like he makes $35k/yr.
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Our species really annoys me.

Seriously. And it depends where he lives. Maybe you can live off $500K for the rest of your life out in Minnesota... in California? You'll be looking for a job in a year.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Yeah, 'tis true. I was making 60k/year in Calgary, and it was considered fairly low range, enough to live in a tiny apartment. Now I'm making 60k/year in Winnipeg, and it's considered to be at the higher end of middle. Where you live really does make a huge difference.

You did move back in with your mom, right?

No, he's in a separate apartment, IIRC.  :D
