Basically, if you said "eat it" to Santa, he'd mention oral sex. Here's an image of the juicy part, if thereg allows hot linking:

It's unbelievable that Microsoft would release something that isn't fully tested! Haha!

Heh, Microsoft went ahead and blamed the users for "bullying" him: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/12/06/microsoft_santa_lies/

Pwned. :)

Lol, I think that's awesome. :D
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

I hope Microsoft wouldn't be so stupid as to make their Santa bot's behavior dependent on the teachings of other users.

Then again, I hope they didn't program mentions of oral sex into their bot.

Any possibilities I'm missing that make them not look really stupid?
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Yea, god forbid that AI actually acts like...oh I don't know AI.
I'm certain every programmer at Microsoft outclasses you by light years, so you calling them stupid is pretty ironic.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

Yes, they modified a free AI script and didn't check it thoroughly enough.

Haha leave lil Joey alone. He doesn't know better.
But yes, this is always the risk you run when running an AI that learns.
What should of been done is simply pass EVEYTHING thats going out through some profanity filters and poof, no problem.
