ZombieMeter.org Shirts
« on: December 14, 2007, 01:34:31 pm »
I was going to make this a poll, but decided against it. Just post in the thread what you think...

So we're planning on doing t-shirts for ZombieMeter.org. Not only are t-shirts cool, but it's advertising, too! Once we're done, we're hoping to sell them for cost, and also to give them away as prizes.

That means that I'll have to come up with a contest that'll have a few winners so I can mail shirts out to people. Good fun! :D

In any case, we're experimenting with different designs. I'm going to list them from the oldest to newest (newest ones should be better). Let me know which you like best, and if you have any suggestions! People seem to like #9 best.

I like #5. I'd wear it.

By the way, I miss ZombieCon in your signature.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

The ZombieCon is still in my signature, I assure you. And incidentally, it moved up to level 3 today!

Sorry, it just didn't load. All I saw was your Stay informed, stay alive link. Probably because your internet sucks. <3

So #5 is a nice shirt, but it doesn't have the URL on the front, which is a feature we kind of want. Thanks for the input, though! :)

I love #2!  ;)

But in all seriousness, I like #3 the best.  :)

Funnily enough, #3 is just a zoomed in version of #2, so your answer is consistent (URL-hack if you want to see #2)

I prefer #3's front with #7's back.  I also prefer Number 13. :)

I might also accept this configuration.  I wouldn't buy any of the configurations that you presented, though.  This one, or the other I suggested.

#7 back = perfect. If I had to pick one of those, I'd pick #8. #3 frontside + #7 backside would be awesome, though.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Try #5, putting ZombieMeter.org slightly smaller under the motto.

And unless it's set in stone, Stay Alert, Stay Alive, is a bit catchier with a SASA pattern.

I like "Stay Informed" because we're a news-style site, so that's staying.

Thanks for your suggestions, though, I'll pass them onto my official designer. :)

I agree with the others, fronts 3, 7, 8 are nice and the backs on the last three are awesome.
Where can I get one?!

Hmm.. I was going to comment that, in general, you're going to want the URL to be clearly visible.  You can do it in a way that isn't unattractive, but it has to be legible from a distance, and that wont be the case with many of those designs.

I like #9, but I think you should switch the zombiemeter.org part with the "stay informed... stay alive" part on the front.  That way zombiemeter.org is larger and underneath of it you have "stay informed... stay alive".  You should be advertising the site, not the logo.
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.
