Happy New Years... and happy new leader(s)!
« on: January 01, 2008, 05:25:01 pm »
All of us here at x86 would like to welcome YOU to 2008.

Why not start off the new year with an announcement: we have the leader election results in!

(I went so far as to painfully tally them with my phone... because a certain whiny female (towelie) whined!)

In first place... we have Sidoh with 9 votes!

(this may be the first election iago didn't steal first place. A sign of things to come?!)

In second place... comes the ten-time champion... the vegan heavyweight: iaaaaaago! He came away with 8 votes.

But it was a tie at 8... so I broke it in his favor.

Why?

Who scooped up 8 votes? It wasn't dark_drake, no. It's a newcomer... (sorry myndy!)

That, my friends, is the seat-clenching question of the day.

Third place is... going to be announced as soon as I get some free time at a computer. So I can properly promote them. ;)

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

It wasn't dark_drake, no.

Maybe because he wasn't running. :o

Blaze has started a trend!  Throw out your guesses!

If he hadn't said it wasn't Myndy (what is this madness?), I would have said him, but now I guess Blaze!

Heh, that's funny:

(06:15:46 PM) Ron: I still think it's Hitmen
(06:15:53 PM) Blaze: I agree with you, actually.

I'll just be laughing when it turns out that Towelie or CrAz3d won. :)

And I simply can't wait! Too much excitement!

Your new leader...

is...

blaze! He managed to tie iago with eight votes!

(so we have a new leader, a new first place, and iago has 10 wins in a row... hooray!)

Hats off to the candidates. There was a point during my counting that there would have been three new leaders... it's only a matter of time before that becomes a reality. Who knows how the tides will change in the next four months...

I guess we'll wait and see. :)

That was a boring sidestory that wasn't really in sync and confused things. :)

Here is the sidestory:
(04:57:20 PM) Sidoh: Dude, don't mess around with comparing people to GameSnake.  A normal person would just commit suicide on the spot
(04:57:29 PM) Sidoh: Lucikly my will power is stron.....
(04:57:45 PM) Sidoh: ( I'm dead now )
(04:57:48 PM) Sidoh: ( Thanks a lot )

"To be elected, a member must express interest in being a potential leader.  If somebody doesn't wish to be leader, they can't be voted for."

That implies that membership is required.

And no, Trust can't be leader. He's already ruined at least two clans, no sense in going for a three-fer. :)

Membership of what, though? I'm a member of the forum, I'm a member of AAA, I'm a member of Blockbuster AND Movie Gallery. I think I hold enough memberships that I'm overqualified for the job.

I haven't ruined any clans, but I'm assuming you're talking about e1 and I'm not sure which other one...

Member, in the context of the rules, is a member of the clan. Interpretation of the rules is ultimately up to Newby, and I'm sure he'll agree with that.

The other one, from the stories I've been told, is xL. :P

QFT.

I say next election let's let him be part of the voting pool.  When he gets no votes (except Warrior's, since he likes to be a 'tard) he can know how bad he fails.
