LAME! :(

I'm not sure what I'd do (aside from stop downloading stuff) if Comcast did that to everyone.

I would immediately complain/switch ISPs if my ISP did that.
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

That's retarded. I have unlimited bandwidth with MTS. Shaw has a 60 GB bandwidth limit... so I'm still debating on weather or not to switch.

I'd imagine that's per month.

Per month. If it was per day that would be no problem.

This isn't nearly as new of an idea as they suggest.  There is at least one ISP in Britain that has been doing this for some time.

Example: http://www.ukfsn.org/home/internet/adsl/maxpayg.html

Oh good gracious, I would hate to have that plan. Gosh, I have to worry about going over 100 text messages a month... never mind downloading 1 GB...

Yo,

Think how lucky most of you are, im currently on a plan with 10gb allowance per month, this is pretty much the norm here in Australia.

The bandwith i get is reliable, they just dont like you using it for anything :)
