Haha, I would be annoyed too.  To be honest, though, it's hard to take relationships between young people seriously in the average case (I'd say this probably includes me too).  I've been in your shoes before.  I was so sure that I was the exception and I was furious with people who didn't agree with me.  Thinking back, though, I was pretty naive.  Then again, the longest I dated someone in high school was a couple of months.
