It looks like someones implying you need the magic pill. It also looks like its the beginning of some kind of paragraph you'd see in a romance novel. Except the person who typed it obviously had Sweaty Hands Syndrome. Poor person.

Spammers often use nonsense text to get past spam filters. It's probably an example of that.

To point out the obvious, most/all of that is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I've sent an email flavored like that to everyone who sent me spam / scams over the past few months. This was the only guy who's done in over the past month. Scaring people with legal stuff is fun. It's even more fun when you know that they're screwed if they don't take you seriously.

All you're really doing is confirming that your email address is real, and suddenly it becomes more valuable to sell (becomes "confirmed").

Do you honestly think that the spam bots read their e-mail?

By whatever means I was removed from their list, it worked, so I don't particularly care if it was read by a human or not.

I mean, if I were sending out massive amounts of illegal emails, I'd probably set up a filter to remove anyone who sent an email back saying "report", "police", "fbi", "arrest", etc.

Duh?  They probably enjoy getting emails.  It makes the bot feel(?) loved.
