Poll: Should iago Stop Un-stickying My Polls?
« on: February 27, 2008, 01:13:45 am »
The subject says it all.  If you haven't kept up, iago went against member rights and un-stickied what could be the most important poll of our time.  He needs to hear from the community!!!

In response to this, I might look at it when I get time.  I'm having a really busy week and SMF's source is frustratingly sloppy.

Oh yeah? Interestingly enough, that's not a half-bad idea. BUT -- x86 started as a battle.net clan, and this was just the forum of the members. Even though the battle.net aspect no longer exists, this is still technically the forum of it's members (and friends.)
It is good to be good, but it is better to be lucky.

I don't think everyone quit playing Blizzard games they just went from Battle net to WoW.

I like the idea of anarchy, but then it wouldn't be the clan anymore. Plus, anarchy requires maturity, which isn't something I expect around here.

Uhh, what? I didn't say anything about quitting blizzard games. I said the battle.net aspect [of x86] no longer exists.

Technically, it wouldn't be anarchy. The moderators would be moderators, the administrators would be administrators. So in the end, you (along with Sidoh, Blaze, and Newby.) would have a lot more control over the maturity level, without dealing with any type of member backlash.  :P
