Thunderbird and Cookies (RSS)

Is there any way to make Thunderbird steal Firefox's cookies (or, make that of it's own), so that I can see privvy forums with the RSS viewer?

Example:
I subscribe to the Stealthbot.net forum's "All" RSS feed, but I can't see the beta testing forums, since I don't have my cookie in Thunderbird.

That assumes that the RSS generator even supports the cookie or being logged in at all, which isn't always the case.
