I cant enable custom, hardware is blacklisted.

Maybe I'll install on my dektop once i jack my sis' hdd and ram later today.

You don't need custom.  Can you enable either of the other two?

I've grown to hate Pidgin lately. It seems that after a few days of uptime it slows down to the point of being unusable, I'm guessing it has one hell of a memory leak and/or just hates me.

well, i'm using pidgin, should be stable enough for me ... laptop doesnt stay on long.



any equivalent to MS' Hibernate on linux?

heh, I'm the same as iago.  Mine's been running for a couple of weeks with no problems.

Yep, it's even called that.  When you click on the power button, it should be an option.
