Linux, JavaOp, and Media
« on: April 01, 2008, 05:20:55 pm »
Anyone know if an Amarok plugin exists for JavaOp similar to Stealth's winamp support?

If so, awesome.

If not, it would be great. I love nothing more then to /m my bot while playing a game to change what im listening to.
the thing is im a noob so all i know is BASIC. Java hates me with a passion so i cant write a plugin with the knowledge i have, which btw is pretty much none as far as java goes.

I doubt it. I don't remember how open amaroK is for probing it for information like that, though; it wouldn't be too hard to ask it for information and/or have it spit out what it's listening to a text file for reading by JavaOp2.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Not to insult you or anything, but if you had to ask that chances are you probably can't do it. :P
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

If you're willing to do a little extra work like installing a Python interpreter, doing a little configuration, and linking me to an amaroK SDK, I'd be happy to write a script that lets you manipulate amaroK while in a Battle.net game.  :)
