I don't see a point, we aren't talking about anything private. If we want secure chat, I suggest moving to SILC (I'm already on SILC, as well, so I'd be fine with that). I don't see a point, though.

Haha, yeah. Encrypted chat is great, but it's pretty dumb if there's no purpose. I use OTR with pidgin, but that's because I occasionally do talk about things I consider private.
