Yesterday had nothing to do with the environment, at least, not according to sources I read.

tech shut off = energy saving = less dirty energy sources = green

Personally, I did it more for the fun of it than for anything else. I just decided to read when I wanted to watch tv, and to paint when I wanted to play with my computer. Much more productive, in my opinion.
