The idea of taking her to a hospital never occurred to them..  :-\
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

I think they got Easter Sunday and Good Friday mixed up. :)

Sigh, religion is a plague.

Religion isn't advocated as a cure for stupidity.
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Our species really annoys me.

I can't load that page cause my interweb is wtf'd, but I believe they were Christian Scientists. Ever heard the song "The God Who Failed"?
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Is that the God that failed at teaching you so he kicked you out of the church for a year?

God doesn't fail at teaching.
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

God is infallible.  hmmm.  SO, God must have PURPOSEFULLY made Joe turn out how he did.  :o

I like to think that a god would give us free will, which is something metaphysical that he wouldn't be able to influence/predict.

"Turn out how he did"?  I don't understand how you know how Joe "turned out".  He isn't an adult yet, he is still growing and still maturing.  He has yet to turn out.  And God is infallible.

Can someone split Craz3d's bullshit?

The song, "The God Who Failed", is about both of James Hetfield's parents dying because they refused treatment for cancer, under these same circumstances. "Until It Sleeps" is also about that. As I'm not a Christian Scientist, this has NOTHING to do with me.

Hey, we here on earth have these things. They're called jokes.
Some speculate that they may be humorous.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

But is he powerful enough to create a will that even he cannot influence?!?
