Summer Plans?
« on: May 04, 2008, 11:14:50 pm »
What's everyone's summer plans?  Anything cool, fun, or interesting planned?

My summer plans pretty much just consists of me doing experimental research in wireless networking at Notre Dame for 10 weeks, and visiting Ender in Chicago.

yall got out last weekend right?

I'm just trying to travel and work, and so far those are how my plans are set up. I'll probably visit this girl I'm talking too pretty often, and that's a 4 hour drive but it's close to DC so maybe I'll spend a good amount of time in Washington.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I still don't understand this concept of "summer".  It sounds like some sort of extended vacation?  All I have is hot days in stupid rooms with no air conditioning listening to foreign professors I can barely understand talking about things I don't particularly care about.

I'm spending the summer in Illinois.  I have an internship with Lockheed Martin.  I still have to figure out housing... I'm going to call some people tomorrow and hopefully get it worked out.

Working!

I'll be teaching at Arizona Boys State on May 31st-June 7th.

Heading out to Cali (OC area) for a weekend some time in July.

Other than that, nothing til December.
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Our species really annoys me.

Please, don't call it the "OC"

It's the real Orange County.

I actually have an 'uncle' (basically dads best friend from growing up) that lives there, but I've only met him once.
