I'd say 0.5, because my answer to question 1 is between the 0 and 1 answer. :)

"8 or more suggests a drink problem"

I scored a gentleman's 14 and I don't have a problem  :D

21, but this quiz isn't so accurate. I answered with the answers I'd answer during the school year. I've only gotten drunk twice since school ended. So, for instance, on question 2 I answered 10 because during the school year when I'd drink (on the weekends) I'd drink over 10 drinks. Likewise, I've been injured physically (falling, etc) so I answered yes but I mean people fall when they're sober too.

Yeah, that injured thing should ask "did you beat anyone's ass violently while drunk?"

9.  Have you or someone else been injured as a result of your drinking?

falling over a fence while trying to jump it because you're drunk or something similar isn't really a problem (and it's kind of funny at the time)...it's a problem when you become abusive or you're harming your family emotionally/financially/etc.

It's an indication of risky behavior (that you wouldn't otherwise take part in) because you are under the influence of alcohol.  It is also an indication of the extent to which the alcohol is affecting you (both in your ability to make decisions and in your coordination).  So I think it's a good question.

What about hurting yourself while trying to twist off a non-twist-off beer cap?

I think the question's author intended violence and MAYBE extreme acts of stupidity, but not the basic just falling down things.  That's way too broad.

Well, loosely interpreting the questions gives me a 21. It says 8 and you have a problem, but that's obviously not true since I haven't been drinking since I left school and have had no withdrawals or even desires to drink. I'm going to the beach for the weekend and I'll drink there because I'll be in a party environment (at least I think they're having a party) but it's not something I feel I HAVE to do on a daily basis.

I got stopped at question 2.  I can't complete it; it does not have an answer that suits me.

I think if you don't drink alcohol its safe to say you're not an alcoholic. I'll have to check with Them though.

0. Though that number would have been a lot higher like 3 years ago. Hence why it is now a 0.

5 or 8 depending on whether you consider minor scratches/bruises to be applicable injuries (I don't consider myself a spectacularly coordinated person to begin with so it's no surprise that I'm more likely to stub my toe/bump my head/scratch my arm when I've had alcohol).

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

@ Trust: in order, my results:

Quote
(2)       2-4 times a month
(0)       1 or 2
(3)       Weekly
(0)       Never
(0)       Never
(0)       Never
(1)       Less than monthly
(1)       Less than monthly
(0)       No
(0)       No

EDIT -- I take that back. I'm changing #7 (guilt/remorse after drinking) to 1 since on prom night I shittalked 3 separate people and felt bad...

Make my total 7.

(2)       2-4 times a month
(2)       5 or 6
(3)       Weekly
0 for the rest (Never/No)

I wasn't entirely sure how to score this, since question 2 is "on a typical day".  On a typical day I drink 0, but on the 2-4 times a month I do drink, I have 5 or 6, which leads to 3, which is when I do drink do I have 6+.  These questions are annoying.  I have somewhere between a 0 and a 7?  Be specific :\

It wasn't necessarily about the frequency of drinking.  During the week I have maybe 1-2 beers w/food.  Weekends/trips are another story, but 1-2 is generally about it.  There was the week after classes that I was just pretty much drunk.

Trust: only drinking on weekends doesn't necessarily make you much less of an alcoholic.  Though it does seem that crazed has more of an alcoholic personality than you do.

There are people with serious alcohol problems who probably only drink twice a month.

And there are people that drink as much as us that don't have alcohol problems.

I scored an 8, but I wasn't sure what was meant by some of the questions..like, "How often do you have six or more units of alcohol on one occasion?" I've drank 6 small units, but not like 6 bottles of wine or something Craz3y. And also #10, "concerned" is kinda vague, because obviously with enough friends at least one of them will be concerned, regardless of the magnitude of someone's drinking.

A "unit" of alcohol is usually 12.5 oz of beer, a 4-5 oz glass of wine, or a (1 oz) shot of hard (40%) liquor.
So a 9 oz glass of wine would be about 2 units.  A pint of beer would be about 1.5 units.
