Good riddens, that brand was awful...it reflected poorly on American beer.

That's possible!?

Does American beer have a reputation to keep or something? :P

For the cheaper beers, I always thought Yuengling reflected better on American beer.  It's also the oldest Brewery in the US :D

Yes! In college we'd actually pool our money together once every couple of months or so and drive down to NY and stock up on it, 'cause you couldn't buy it anywhere in our state.

To keep?  No.  But Americans are making great beers as of late.  If you look at the recent int'l brewery awards there was a strong US showing.  Microbreweries are kicking ass.

I believe AB was the last American-owned brewery, with the exception of microbreweries. This is a sad day for beer.

Yeah, its only sold on the east coast.  It's quite common in bars and liquor stores...

You can only buy Yuengling on the east coast?  I'm sure I've seen it out here before.  Cant remember what airport I had it in.  Either Bush or Reagan, I think Reagan.

You can't buy it north/east of NY, because their distribution company has some legal stick up their ass. I went to college in central MA.

That's because there is a brewery in Tampa. The other one is somewhere in PA.

It's in Port Carbon, about 100 miles northwest of Philly.
