weakens the mind. Of course there are exceptions (like Kasparov and Obama) but this truly does seem to be the case in the majority of politicians. It's like they say: show me a politician and I'll show you a dumb person.
The great thing about America is that at least we get smart people in one of the three branches, i.e. the Judiciary. They actually have to learn something before being selected for office
