...for a $180,000 offer on a house.
The house is being foreclosed on if they don't sell by Nov. 11th. It was sold in 2005 for $300k.... It was put on the market briefly in 2006 for $315k and not sold. It was listed in June for $225k, hasn't been sold, and just went to short-sell status at $189,900 five days ago. I offered $180k, with the seller contributing up to $5k to closing costs. (Standard FHA financing).
Anyway it's pretty exciting, a nice place. Needs some major work on paint and flooring, but my mom is my realtor and she's wanting to give me her commission (3%) for that.
I'm pretty excited!!!
