CrAz3D's new WORKING mp3izzle player
« on: May 16, 2005, 02:25:08 pm »
CrAz3D got sick of iriver & bought an iPod photo 30 gig for $320...60 gig was $420 (heh) but I thought that was a bit much.  YAY for college bookstores!

The box this thing came in is VERY awesome by itself.

I don't care what Bill says, iPods are teh shiznit...for now

Even the install is better (iriver's didnt even install really)

#1) I sent the 2nd one back today
#2) Why would you want something that doesn't work at all?

I do believe that I underestimated the iPod.  iPod & iTunes working together is an awesome thing.  It even has games!...wtf?!

Yeah, but they suck my left nut. Go grab yourself the iPodizzle plugin for Winamp, because iTunes is a memory whore if I do say so myself (and I clearly do say so myself).
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Cry me an iRiver!*

iPods are overrated. I was playing around with my friend's iPod photo today, can't say I was very impressed. It's a music player, not anything else. Plus, my phone TAKES PICTURES, not just stores them. It also makes calls, and has neat java games, which are x10 better than anything on the iPod (the parachute game blows). Plus, I don't like their software crap, and they have issues with downloaded songs or songs from someone else's collection going onto your iPod, etc.

Lol @ the iRiver comment.

I like the iPod's design more than other's I've seen.

That's the most 'overrated' comment I've ever heard, Quik. :P

iPod's are NOT overrated. They're MEANT to be a MP3 player. Apple's being smart. Instead of being like microsoft and spanning out towards 1000 subjects (and all of them being buggy), its staying focused on what it's supposed to do. I'd rather have several things that perform their functions very well than one that does everything crappily. For games/entertainment, I have a gameboy/books, for pictures I have a digital camera, etc.

Yes, iTunes blows. That's why we have Anapod Explorer. There's Nomad Creative Zen equivilants (from the same Redchair Software company) and from what I've heard, RCS's software pwns nomad's.

The free one doesnt look so inticing

That's because it's a free one.

The payed version is awesome. Read the features list (and look at the comparison). Anapod Xtreamer alone is worth it. :) Trust me, iTunes BLOWS.
