Personally, I stress the importance of all sorts of details throughout the text, taking it as a whole, and thus have no difficulty suffering through slow portions, but, for one who does have such difficulty, that is a fairly solid plan.

To be fair, I would also interpret that post as condescending. But it could very well have just been a mistake resulting from the haste in which we write forum posts. That is, there's no need to harbor grudge for it, but it doesn't make sense to reprehend deadly

I had no intention to be condescending.  You are completely right insofar as that was just a matter of cranking out a thought quickly and not going back to reword it properly--in this case, it may have been better to simply not include that last note at all.  I do apologize.
