That was sorta surprising to see.

I saw a graph (gonna go try to find it) that showed that the strongly agree/strongly disagree gap has closed to about 2 points.

Quote
Obama's 63% first-quarter average matches the historical average of 63% for elected presidents' first quarters since 1953. However, it is the fourth highest for a newly elected president since that time, and the highest since Jimmy Carter's 69% in 1977. The historical first-quarter average includes two presidents whose scores exceeded 70% (John Kennedy's 74% and Dwight Eisenhower's 71%).

Besides that, Obama is currently at 63%, so I don't know what the hell he's talking about.

Now, the bigger issue is why is such a big deal being made about this 100 day thing? Obama's average is what counts, what did people think about him overall? Stack that up against past Presidents and he's higher than the recent ones.

I honestly can't believe you're even trying to downplay his immense popularity, he's probably the most scrutinized President in history, given how much more connected America is thanks to technology, and despite attack after attack from the right, his approval is still sky high.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.
