linear-log graphs
« on: May 31, 2009, 12:23:53 pm »
Extra credit question that I'm not too sure about, maybe somebody can help out.

"If you wanted to find out whether two quantities x and y satisfy a relation given by y=pq^x     where p and q are constants, how would you be able to find p and q from your graph?"

You'd be using semi-log graph paper and the graph I suppose is linear-log. How do you find p and q graphically? Just pick points?
