New bike!
« on: May 29, 2005, 10:08:56 pm »
I got a new bike yesterday.  My old one needed:
- New bearings around the petal axel
- New petal axel
- New bolts to hold the petals on
- New petals
- New tire
- New tube
- New rim
- A really good cleaning

Overall, it was going to cost at least $110 + tax.

So I bought a new bike, for $219+tax (it was on sale, original price is $300).  It's pretty nice, I'll have to see about a picture, the only good camera I have is at work.

Good investment, since you use it more than a car.

Speaking of cars, my second Slackware CD got corrupted. Mind mailing me 10.1? :P
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I'm not going to get a picture of myself riding, I don't want to leave the camera sitting downtown.  But of the bike itself, just you wait.......!

My friend bought a new bike too.  He doesn't ride bikes though, so it seems like a bad investment.
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

I broke all of my bikes.  :( I had a kick-ass trick bike that I used to wheelie down my road on and stuff... (I swear to god if someone pulls the bike picture I'm killing them.)
It is good to be good, but it is better to be lucky.
