I'm completely the opposite. When I had T9, I never got used to it. As soon as I got a full QWERTY keypad, I could type very fast without looking, like I was using a laptop keyboard with my thumbs. Now that I have a touch screen phone, it makes it more difficult. I avoid doing so while driving because it's dangerous, and illegal in California (other places too?).

Yeah. They just passed a law to where it is illegal here in Ohio, too.

In MA, they messed up and wrote the law so it's illegal to hold the phone to your head while driving. Texting is technically legal.

I can't imagine a similar rule coming to Texas any time soon.

But I mean... think about West Texas. You can take a nap and still not be a threat to anyone else on the road.
