Really? I heard someone talking in my guild that it was shit, but they're a bunch of east-coast stoners, so I think I'll take your word for it and "get" it. Thanks. :)

Its alright, wasn't too impressed, I dont think they'll be able to top their toxicity album.

Well, that's mean. But on the topic of east-coast stoners, I was at a party and this chick put it in this CD. It was horrible. I mean, I wasn't in the best state of mind, but I'm pretty sure it still sucks.

On a side note, for those intrested...

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I didn't like it, because it sucks. I listened to the single on Yahoo and the only part that was ok was the chorus.
(01:22:35) Newby: I am listening to 9989. Torsofuck - Fistfucking Her Decomposed Cadaver (0:07 / 2:37 320kbps)
(01:22:39) Newby: I am listening to 9990. Torsofuck - Worm Infested Anal (0:01 / 3:02 320kbps)
(01:22:43) Newby: I am listening to 9991. Torsofuck - Raped By Elephants (0:02 / 4:14 320kbps)

If I hate the single, no, I'm not listening to the album.

I don't like Mezmerize just because of "Old school hollywood" god!! I DON'T FUCKING CARE WHAT TONY FUCKING DANZA DOES! Other then that, the album's okay. The Song "Violent Pornography" is my favorite on the album.

Then you obviously didn't even listen to the album, or any of SOAD for that matter, as they scream very little.

What's wrong with SOAD? I happen to like it. It's not hardcore headhurt (like some metal I've listened to from newby's extremely big stash) but it's not softcore.. and be grateful it isn't rap! :)

Because SoaD is shitty metal.  Disturbed is the only Nu Metal band that isn't a disgrace to Metal.

Hahaha.

SoaD is alright.  I really don't like their newer CD much at all, but Toxcicity was really good.  I don't even listen to Disturbed that much, it's mostly just Thrash Metal (and on ocasion bands like Blindside and Staple) now-a-days.  I do enjoy Disturbed's music, but not nearly as much as I used to.  I like their new CD, it's pretty good. :)  Their second CD (Believe) was really good, IMO.  I kind of overlistened it a long time ago, so I don't enjoy it as much I would today.

Pfft, Again I state that I loathe Disturbed. I like System of a Down a lot mor then I like Disturbed. I really was let down by their newer albums. Their first album was byfar the best one that they have made. I was just looking for something more Industrial or Thrashy than they could deliver. Also, the song "Old School HollyWood" makes me want to shoot surge in the face.

Yeah, personally I don't think Disturbed's last two albums have been "Nu Metal."  They've been a more heavy rock style music.  I thought The Sickness was a lot better than even Toxcicity, though.

Oh well, tastes in music differ, I guess. :)

i used to LOVE s.o.a.d., back before i had much musical class. now i realize they really dont have talent.
a.)serj (lead singer) needs to change his name. besides that, hes not a very good singer.
b.)i am better than their guitar player, and that is sad.
c.)i have nothing against their bass player.
b.)drummer is pretty good, has a huge drum kit.

somehow it all flows together though and used to sound pretty good. their first, self titled, album was very good, followed by the also very good toxicity. this album doesnt compare. they dont flow together much of at all. way too much time spent on political bias, not enough on music. however, i must agree on part of it, and that is where americas values are, and how much hollywood = crap.

if you want to hear s.o.a.d. - get their old albums.

The only thing that got me into metal today was generally Sidoh, due to him being my role model when I first met him about a year ago (?)

I still remember the band....Breaking Benjamin. *sigh*

You're telling an Armenian to change his name?  That's like telling Pablo or Miguel to change his name, or Ron to change his.  He's obviously good enough to be in a pretty famous and successful band.  Your opinion on this happens to a) suck and b) be wrong.

b.)i am better than their guitar player, and that is sad.
Then why don't you go and replace him?

a.) no - serj doesnt need to change his name - he can do whatever he wants, but that is besides the point that still he is not a very talented singer, but then again, im not one much for vocals in music.

b.) guitarist - i used to learn how to play SOAD songs in like 15 mins back when i liked them. they are the most simple tabs i have ever played, good for starters. i probobly could replace him as well as many other guitar players in pop bands that only play 1-2 chords throughout the whole song. I've noticed - in all pop bands, there are no solos, and in the rarity of one, it sucks, something i could play on a bad day.

'twas a half joke - i didn't literally mean, "serj, YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR NAME" i was just messing around, like i do half the time. Besides that though, try not to pick apart everything i say. The general point of what I was saying was that if you want to listen to SOAD - listen to their older albums, they are better than the newer.

The only thing that got me into metal today was generally Sidoh, due to him being my role model when I first met him about a year ago (?)

I still remember the band....Breaking Benjamin. *sigh*

Even though I was an asshole to you?  That's funny. :)

Breaking Benjamin is a good band!  I still listen to them every now and then, but not as much as I do to Thrash Metal.  We can thank Newby for that one.

Did I say you weren't? :( You were my fucking idol. (Why I don't know, I was just pulled to learn more about computers after I met you, and figured knowing you I'd be able to be more like you).

...Wow that sounds so pathetic.

serj (lead singer) needs to change his name

no - serj doesnt need to change his name

You want to make up your mind or would you like to contradict yourself a while longer?

You missed the sarcasm in his post? :p

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Long-gone topic but I'm a long-time fan of SOAD, so I had to bump it.

I've been with the System for a long time, and their style is changing slowly. What I like about it is they don't make songs for the people, but it seems like they make songs for themselves. Like.. Green Day. Green Day makes songs for the people. Fags.

Anyways, every song retained the System of a Down sort of sound to it, but when compared to Toxicity the scale is fairly offset. Then again, Toxicity is probably my favorite album of all-time.

The other reason that I bumped this was because Hypnotize has also been realeased. Hypnotize, the song, was like.. Weird. Like I said, their style seems to be changing.

Nonetheless, I'll always stay with them. 4vr.
