Does anyone have one to spare? I need to get business cards printed ASAP (submit design to printer tomorrow!) and I don't want to put my cell phone on there.

The only way to get in is to sign up at https://services.google.com/fb/forms/googlevoiceinvite/ and wait for Google to invite you. I've had it since they started 6 months ago (I was an upgrade GC user), and have never received a single invite credit.

Yeah, that is weird. I have a few guesses, but the most reasonable one is geographical. Maybe they can only allow so many new users, and they want to get it to people in certain areas. I have a Maryland area code for my GV number.

I might. I'm going to ask a few friends if they're interested, and probably offer it to my family too, but if no one is expressing sincere interest, then yes.

I think my gf probably will have invites too, so if I run out, I'll see if she'd send you one.

Just remember that the "in network" crap doesnt work with the Google # (from everything I've read).
