Zombie cyclists growing danger

I think the solution is obvious.  Ban bicycles.  But if we do that (which is completely impractical), only criminals will have them.  So instead, we should work to educate everyone on bike safety (riding, or driving near them).

Or ban headphones while bicycling?
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

There are people being idiots in cars too (talking on phones, playing with their radio or GPS excessively) leading to crashing, and they had to pass a driving test, so is a cycling test or class or whatever going to help? However, if the test was geared toward being safe like you say, maybe it will help.

In Connecticut they've banned talking on the phone while driving, so why not @Blaze.

I frequently (bordering on 'always') listen to music when I bike. But I keep the volume low enough that I'm well aware of my surroundings -- not too hard to do, really.

I've had a cop yell at me for listening to music while biking. I do it nearly every day here between class. It makes biking otherwise exciting.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.
