Live stream:
http://english.aljazeera.net/watch_now/2 million people are in central Cairo calling for their "president", who has rules for 30 years, to step down. There would be even more, except the government ordered streets blocked and the trains shut down to try and control things.
People are handing out food, supplies, taking care of garbage, cleaning up litter, etc, and have been for weeks. Last I heard, the president and many of the rich business class have fled the country.
The government has shut down the Internet, telephone systems, and other communication mediums to try and quell this uprising, but people have found ways to organize anyways. Nothing warms my heart like citizens telling their government to go f*** themselves, especially in a peaceful way.
