Insurance Ads
« on: May 29, 2011, 06:47:33 pm »
I'm increasingly irritated by this new trend in insurance ads ... They market personalization and friendship.

These guys aren't your friends, it's their business and their job. They're liars to claim anything more than that. Their ads make me think how manipulative these sons of bitches really are!

At CountryWide, you're not just a policy, you're a cash cow! Pay your insurance bill and don't cost us too much money and we'll be on your side!

CountryWide reserves the right to not be on your side at any time.

I mean, medicine commercial side effects used to be funnier (e.g. asthma medicine that has a side effect of asthma).

I don't have health insurance currently. Or friends. Hiring them solves both! Yeah!

But really, does this surprise you? They're not the first insurance company to advertise and say they care. I mean, your second post basically spells out exactly why they care.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.
