Oh what the hell.  Two days ago, it was warm enough that I didn't need a coat (mid 50s).  Now there's 6 inches of snow on the ground.  Thanks a lot, Colorado.
Its warm here today :(, somewhere around 52 degrees out. Actually, it is pretty nice, but my jacket is a bit too warm lol. I should be nice and cold at the army game, the high is mid 30s with wind. I have to board a bus at 0345 for that shit. I'm not getting any sleep this week, I think a total of 16 hours since sunday, and I'll probably get 3 hours tonight and none tomorrow.

I've been to Cali/Arizona in the Summer.  As long as the places I live and work have air conditioning, I don't care.  I'd much rather deal with uncomfortable heat than uncomfortable cold, shitty driving conditions, ice, snow storms, etc.

Heh, yeah.  It's not just the cold that bothers me, though.  If it was just cold, I'd probably be okay.  However, when there's snow on the ground, your shoes/pants get wet, and then you're cold for the rest of the day.  I live about a mile and a half off campus, and I walked today.  I have a good coat and my headphones double as earmuffs (lol), so I stayed pretty warm, but it was still pretty miserable.  Being wet and cold sucks big time.

The AVERAGE high in Arizona during the summer is ~110. That just plain sucks.

That sounds much better than an average high of 0-10 in Colorado from Nov-Feb.

I've put plenty of thought into this.  I find the conditions in Arizona (and other like states) to be much more desirable than the ones in Colorado.  Beyond not being fond of the cold, the weather conditions just plain suck during the winter.  They're dangerous and miserable.  It doesn't help that the roads are ridiculous to begin with.

Why not move to San Diego then? :P. Mild winter AND mild summer. Hell, there basically is one season.

Weather isn't the only thing I was considering.  I was also thinking about things like severity of natural disasters (and CA does pretty poorly in this regard), cost of living, etc.  It'll depend on where I wind up working.  From the looks of it, AZ and surrounding states are unlikely because of this.  CA, eastern states, and WA are more likely that others.
