One of my professors suggested I look into starting a mutual fund. I'm considering it.

I've got an idea. Why don't you mutually fund your own ticket back to Africa.

I'm going to be doing some index/mutual funds soon as I get the $3,000 account opening deposit.  Depending on the mutual fund, the best normally require around $3,000 or more to open an account.  Lame.

Why don't you just give me that $3k?  It'll be a better investment.

Hahaha, no thx.  I'm Mr. Scroog when it comes to money.

Just filed my tax return... I'll be getting a nice sum back, about $4.5k.  That puts me at about 6 months of emergency fund.  Now I can feel more secure spending money.

Hmmmmm, not as high as I hoped, but I'll gladly take the 3.85% raise in salary.

I wrote a shell script to update Minefield (Firefox alpha) to the latest nightly build.

I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I didn't know you could use the command hdid to mount remote .dmg files. That's cool!

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

If you're hardcore, cronjob it!

The neat part is that it will download only the directory structure of the DMG. It's not until you copy the file off the DMG that it downloads the file.
