I wasn't arrested. Our cops must be morons because we were out under like 10 lights and a ton of cops drove by. I wonder how much the school will remove before class begins.

Good one. Basically everyone at my school thought it was hilarious. Home of the Semen, eh? Hah! Who would have thought you'd travel that far for a senior prank, too!

Maybe you can show me some pictures of you "hammering nails" or possibly even a video.  I'm just not quite sure where I should start.

Um, you hold the nail and tap it a little to get a nice start into the wood and then smack it in.

Huh?

I'll get pictures up tomorrow.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

...my posts were just intense sarcasm, I know how to use a hammer.  I used one as a kid all the time building weird crap, not to mention that my dad was a finished carpenter and remodeler for 30+(?) years.

http://picasaweb.google.com/wmballance/SeniorPicnicPrank?authkey=LdRQjpXrdtY

Here are the pictures, as well as some from the senior picnic but I doubt anyone cares about those. (Mostly lots of black people dancing and some tug-o-war)

Anyway here are the prank details:

Around 10pm Monday night a bunch of girls went up to the school and chalked the sidewalks with "Seniors Class of 2007" and stuff like that as well as windows around the school with window paint. Around 11 me and 3 other guys showed up to dig 2007 in front of the school. After we dug it I drove home where my dad had been mixing concrete for me, we had bought 720 pounds but I only took 420 with me back to the school since I figured it would be enough and it's also what I could fit. In retrospect we could have used more because one of the guys kept digging twice as wide as I had instructed. We dyed the concrete red thinking it would make it stand out from the grass more, but it actually drys a maroonish color and kind of looks like mud or something so that was actually a bad idea. They don't make the dye in our school colors.

After we finished digging/concreting we went around the school and put "For Sale By Owner - 612-2007" signs and "Sorry we're closed" signs on the main entrances, as well as a for sale yard sign in front of the school. Around the concrete we put multiple stakes in the ground and wrapped caution tape around it, as well as some caution tape in a bush and around a trashcan. The idea behind the caution tape was that it would draw attention to the concrete, and also it would keep people off of it (we put "Keep Out" signs on the tape) Lastly we had a big sheet which we wanted to hang from the middle pillars in front of our school, but we ended up taping it to this school sign in front of the flag pole (which is about 10 feet from the concrete). There were a ton of cops that drove by, as my school is on a very busy main road. It's a wonder we didn't get caught, as we had many close calls. Our cops must be blind or something, because this area in front of our school is also VERY well lit.

Anyway, Tuesday morning was our picnic/picture. Most of the window paint had been washed off, and all but 2 signs removed. They also removed the caution tape from around the 2007 which surprised me. The concrete, of course, is still there.

It actually didn't turn out as clean as it had looked at night, and with the dug up grass around it it looks pretty bad. The caution tape really made it look more professional and put together. I wish the school had left everything up for people to see, but I can't say that I expected them to. One of the guys asked our class sponsor if the principal had said anything and he said that he'd talked to him many times but this never came up, and that he's probably ticked but not too upset. There weren't any announcements made and no faculty even mentioned it at the senior picnic. They took it much better than I had expected, considering we dug up their front lawn. I was kind of disappointed that more commotion wasn't made about it, but at the end of the day I'm still a free man. So that's good.

So, it's prom night and I'm sitting at home. I really regret my decision not to go, especially after I saw two couples in the restaurant when my mom, grandmother, and myself went to dinner tonight.

My friends date said I was lame for not going. (this is behind my back after I went to my table) I wish I had asked somebody, as  there were a few people I wanted to ask but was scared to...they probably would have said yes too.

I didn't think it would be a big deal. Plus my bestfriend wasn't going to go because his date was 21 and you can't be over 20 so I figured I'd just chill with him. But yesterday this girl he knows called him telling him her date ditched her so he took her.

Real pranks are funny and tie back into something that your class did, something memorable that doesn't cost the school tons of money to fix. What you did, and what most "senior pranks" are, is vandalism.

That was retarded. I think their overall rating went down. Everywhere. Even people at that school were like "Wow, we fail that bad? Fuck."

It doesn't cost the school a ton of money, it costs them maybe 30 minutes with a shovel. We didn't do it deep with cleanup in mind.
