fuck I blew my back right speaker in the Explorer, either that or it came that way and I didn't notice it. Anyway, I went ahead and ordered all new speakers (cost I didn't want to have, but oh well). Hopefully the quality is improved and I don't have any more problems.
dude, pioneer 3ways. 6x8! yessir,
fucking crazy liberal people
I ended up buying 4 Polk db570's and 2 sets of bafflers. I hope the Polk's perform well, if not then they're being sent back. I ordered from Crutchfield and these were recommended to me by the service guy, I talked to him online last night and again on the phone today. Crutchfield's HQ is located about an hour and a half from my college so if they suck I'll go there and complain. The speakers used to be $100/pair but they are last years model so I got them for $50/pair. I don't need much power, in fact I was happy with the Explorer's factory speakers...until one blew. As long as they offer slightly better quality and don't blow, I'll be happy.
Oh and get this, the other day I noticed that my sisters new LCD tv she got for Christmas (what's that, 11 days ago?) has a dead pixel. I'm going out by Best Buy today to get a new pair of shoes so I go in her room to get the TV to return. I look at it, and she's WRITTEN on the screen. She wrote the names of the 3 ninjas and drew circles. WTF? What goes through kids minds. Luckily the customer service people didn't notice and/or mention it so I was able to exchange it. Why would you draw on a TV? Kids suck.
