Because I don't like nested quotes.  They're long and bothersome.  If someone doesn't get it, they can click on the link for a reference.

My phone (chocolate, original) kept turning off so they replaced it (my 8th chocolate).  less than two hours later the same thing was happening, only more frequently than the previous one! 
I got UBER pissed, especially cause I'm going to DC tomorrow and need a phone.  Went to Verizon and was quite aggressive ... they gave me a vx 8700, decent.  I still get my upgrade +$50 credit on April 22nd ... she wrote that down and said she'd even call her manager and tell him just to make sure I get it.  YAY NEW PHONE!

What have you covered so far?

I had a 95% without the curve on my first one, but it was later in the semester, I think.  The average was something like a 58% because people didn't remember anything from Calc 2, lol.  There was some problem that required IBP, which I didn't remember, but I derived it and got it correct.  I screwed up one easy problem on the next test and ended up with an 85% without the curve.  I read it wrong.

Oh well, I had an A in the class and I felt like I took a lot out of it.

This was like our sixth class...yeah, I wasn't really expecting to have one so early. Since it only really covered one thing, it wasn't a big deal. And I really hope there is a scale because everyone else in my class seems to not understand anything....I want an A+!
