Anybody aware of how my friends and I could get some weed down there? Say, if I were to have it in my pocket (hypothetically), would they know? Doesn't the detector thing only scan for metal devices?

They don't generally check for it, but they do do random searches if they suspect something is up. And if you get caught smuggling, it's probably more than a possession charge.

So only if they do a search, they'll know? I mean I thought they made you empty your pockets when walking through the detectors and they like x-ray you. Does the x-ray only see metal objects? I mean I'm not too worried about a search here, I don't think a bunch of kids on Spring Break will be worth the time searching us. Chances are we're not trying to blow the plane up, lol.

They do make you empty your pockets before walking through the metal detector, but if it isn't metal you don't have to pull it out.

Also, I forgot about the fact that you're crossing a border -- that might be a different story, since you have to go through customs. Seems risky.

Bio and APUSH are about two hours worth of reading each, and then maybe two more for assignments on the reading. AP English has been light on work, maybe an hour, two to three if there's a real assignment due. Calc usually runs about two hours, depending on how shitty my instructor is that particular day. Physio is generally an hours worth of work.

I get back from class at 1PM, usually work on academia from 4PM till 2-3AM.

Only metal, leave it in your pocket or hidden somewhere on your body (not in shoes or jacket, since you need to take those off), and don't take it out when you give them all of your metal before going through the detector.

I'd suggest avoiding bringing drugs, or taking drugs. Also, purchasing drugs at a place where you know a limited amount of people is definitely risky.

I asked because I remembered you were from San Jose and was wondering if you went to a competitive school. Lynbrook is alright, I know some people who went there for high school. Seems like an excessive amount of work for as many AP classes as you're taking.. 4 isn't so many. My senior year, I took 3 and barely had to do any work to get good grades. Of course, my school is not as well rated, but still.
