Trust, that's true of all college dorms, lol. It's called "diversity", and colleges look for it.

I think you're missing the point. It's that fraternity men aren't just the alcoholic womanizing douche bags that people stereotype us as. Yes I love some women, and yes I love Jim Beam...but that's not all a fraternity is, and Rule is generalizing about something he knows nothing about.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

The frats around here pretty much follow the stereotypes.  I find that for good networking, a professional society is best.

In later news, Ken (a guy I know) was not voted off Survivor.  Go Ken!

I didn't read trust's post because honestly there's not much point, but this part jumped out at me

I call bullshit.  There is no way in hell anyone has enough time to be in ROTC, fulfill their fraternity time obligations, attend classes (and achieve a GPA higher than 1.5), and sleep.

In addition to that he also holds an officer position in the fraternity, is on the varsity cross-country team, is on the Student Admissions Committee (we actually have the same tour time), is the president of the society for the preservation of southern heritage, is on the men's chorus, chairman of Good Men Good Citizens, and is in a few other things like our ducks unlimited club and the pre-health society.

He's a senior and I don't know his GPA but I do know that it's above a 3.0.

He's not in ROTC then. He might say he is or hold some kind of volunteer-1 hour a week-position, but he doesn't have a ROTC scholarship (the traditional definition of being "in" ROTC).

I don't know the specifics but it's definitely more than an hour a week, and also takes up several weekends.

I'm not trying to argue about ROTC, the point of my post is that fraternity men are more than people who like to attend parties and have a good time. I'm still waiting to hear back from Rule, maybe he knows something about fraternity life that I don't.

I don't know anyone who watches Survivor anymore since the third season.  I stopped a couple episodes into the second...  It's good that he didn't get voted off, though!  Woo, Ken!
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

We already have to know the amount of days until like 5 different dates this year, so someone plugged in our grad year to a countdown thing we use... :P
