I've put plenty of thought into this. I find the conditions in Arizona (and other like states) to be much more desirable than the ones in Colorado. Beyond not being fond of the cold, the weather conditions just plain suck during the winter. They're dangerous and miserable. It doesn't help that the roads are ridiculous to begin with.
The cold can be easily enough tolerated from when we walk to and from classes, but I don't think I'll ever be comfortable with the driving conditions. It's a hoot to get stuck in a town halfway to where you're going because of a road closure. Or what's even more fun is to have to slam on your brakes in the middle of the interstate because some assholes were driving at ridiculous speeds and caused a wreck ahead of you.
Yeah, for sure. The crappy weather/road conditions suck.
Almost all of the roads in CO/WY are two lane. One direction of traffic drives on one side, the other drives on the opposite side. These kinds of roads covered in snow suck big time.
