So today's my birthday, but it doesn't feel like it.  Just feels like another day.  Methinks it's just all goes down hill after 21.  I'm 22 today >_<;  So old.

That's what 19 was for me , and I have a feeling 20 will be too. And every other fucking year after that, except 21.

19's an uneventful age, because you can't do anything. You're still a teenager, but you're not classified as a teenager in demographics. Teenager is cut off at 18, young adult starts at 20. 19 just is in the middle with no identity.

Naw, every birthday's a great opportunity to get fucked up.. there's no wasted years, just ones where it's not legal to drink.

Man so I switched my computer over to vista from XP and I thought I had made a partition and backup to my files (pictures,documents, and such) but now I can't recover them and it says my hardrive was completly erased fuck fuck fuck mother fuck noise noise noise. I fail at computers.

Oh and my modem  went to the crapper today. FUCK It started out by timing out my network, then at random intervals it would disconnect my internet, then finally I lost all internet capability fuck this shit. I am glad I can get wifi at school on my laptop.

It's probably still possible to recover the images, depending on how much you want to spend. The less you use the computer, the more likely it's possible, but you'd have to find a professional recovery place (or somebody who knows their way around forensics tools).

Any possible solutions to this problem: I'm trying to boot up Windows on a desktop I have and it says that it's missing some system file, which is fine since I want to reinstall windows anyway. It says boot from disk but when I boot pressing a key won't boot it. The keyboard is plugged in. Is it likely a hardware issue or what?

Wouldn't it would run in USB legacy mode?

That would be a bios feature that may or may not be present (or enabled, which wouldn't be a bad idea to check).
