I pwned my interview today, and the recruiter gave me a follow-up call afterwards to ask me various questions for helping him draft the job offer he'll have for me next week. I wish the grad skools I'm waiting to hear back from would hurry... 60-65k starting with good education and other benefits is tempting.
Sounds like a pretty damned good deal! Did you tell your recruiter that you're waiting to hear back from grad schools too? I'd imagine they could work with you on that.
Nah, at this point they're just aware of my desire to further my education, but not that I have pending graduate admissions. I should hear from Notre Dame in the very near future, they should if be evaluating my application if they haven't already. It's an easy decision if they GGNORETHX me... because in this case my mind is pretty much already made up that I'm going to accept their offer if it's what I'm anticipating (I've predicted their moves pretty accurately so far). I really think I'd work well with the people I interviewed with, as well as enjoy the project. Plus 15k/yr in education reimbursement is plenty, and this way I'd just apply to Masters programs at like John Hopkins and/or University of Maryland. However, it will be a much tougher decision if I'm accepted to Notre Dame, because it will mean I'll have an automatic full-ride- a 30k/yr education.
