Sounds like a pretty hefty bill, there. I replaced my radiator awhile back, and now it's leaking - woohoo.

I've used mono on a production linux server in the past without any problems.  However, I avoided using any GUI elements and my dev environment has been on Windows with Visual Studio so you'd still have some challenges going that route.  If this is a short term project you could download and install one of various virtual machine trials from microsoft and use a free Visual * Developer tool.

I decided to just download Windows 7, I don't think they're shutting it off until August.

Cars are expensive. Body damage? Going through insurance probably gonna total it. Time for an upgrade :p

2 holes in the radiator.
1 hole in the oil cooler.
All my gaskets are blown (from the car sitting there in the sun idle apparently)
And something about an oil pressure valve.
Front brakes needed replacing.

Couple that with the fact that it probably also needs new tires all around, and that's more than my car is worth.

Woot. I fixed up my enemy pathing. They now actually avoid the "towers". They did at one point in the past, too, but I must have broke that functionality somehow, because they stopped.

Yea. I haven't added any finer collision detection-based avoidance, yet. I'll definitely be doing that rather soon, though. My next thing on the plate is to add bounding spheres around the enemies, and implement the actual weapon firing of the towers. After that, it'd make sense to use those bounding spheres for avoiding hitting towers on a find scale, too.

When I get back to SD we can look into it. But yeah, that'd be sweet. Because I'm not paying $2500 for Saturn to repair it.

You need to make the bounding spheres larger than the turrets.  It still kind of looks like they go through each other.

LOL thats probably why it costs so much, you took it to the dealership. Take it somewhere else where labor is less expensive. And most of that stuff is fairly cheap or can be done by someone who is just a backyard mechanic.

Not only does your list not make a whole lot of sense, it's most likely fairly cheap to fix.
