I guess this doesn't go in Let's See It because it's not hilarious, but this is my friend's band's performance of Bohemian Rhapsody the other night at a local German pub. It's one of the songs always on their set list and pretty interesting to hear with a female lead.

Damn, these last three days have been mad lax... I've only gone in to work a few hours each day, probably wouldn't have gone in at all if I didn't live 5 minutes from the lab.

I have, well had, ~120 hours of paid time off (PTO = combined paid vacation and sick leave) so these last few days I've been preparing (ok mostly procrastinating) for the Christmas break (making and shopping for gifts and what not).  I figure since I have so much PTO and having postponed my trip to Zergland until further notice, I might as well spend some PTO and take advantage of the holiday break employees get after Christmas; since we Christmas Eve, all of next week, and the following Monday because it's New Years off by default (meaning it doesn't affect accrued employee PTO).

Anyways, off to work for a few hours.  Then back home to sew my Grandma's gift.
I tend to edit my topics and replies frequently.

Nice!  My company gave that kind of time off the year before I started.... time off for Christmas these days has fallen off a bit... :(

My internship has been slack since nobody's doing much business because of the holidays. Left the office with 8 complimentary beers today...perfect start to my friends 22nd tonight. Was told to come in whenever I feel like it tomorrow, since it's the last day.

Bad thing is: Since I'm an intern I'm hourly, so I'd much rather work the week all the salaried people are happy to have off.

I work a paid internship as a 'web programmer' at a video game company, and since I'm remote, I don't really have set hours I need to be online or anything, so long as I'm getting all of my work done.  I get to choose a lot of what I do as well, which I think is probably one of the best perks a job can give.  When I find myself bored over the next few days, I imagine I'll be working.
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

Yeah. I had that (remote programming + select my hours) for a solid few months before the guy funding the project pulled funding with a family emergency to deal with. so I'm currently unemployed 'til he decides to start paying me again. =P

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I've been working at home for about two months now. I have fairly set hours, with a little flexibility. I love it, though. Plus it's a cool job. :)
